“Your holiday maker in adventure himalaya”
Phulchowki, named after one of the famous Hindu goddess, is the highest hill of Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of 2782 meters. It presents one of the best viewpoints for witnessing some of the highest peaks, diverse species of birds and various other floras and faunas.
The hike initiates with a 14 kilometers drive from Kathmandu to Godawari to get to the Royal Botanical Garden. From here you start to hike gradually uphill along the rugged motor-able road through sub-tropical thick forest about four hours. After making a few detours here and there, you come down following the same trail to Godawari within two and half hours and then drive back to Kathmandu.
